I have been searching for solutions on how to build a cross platform application with an exception of java. Why not java? well i have seen a lot of articles describing java as one of the worse from speed to memory handling. Yesterday, i tried visiting http://sourceforge.net just wondering who is on top of the list. After a series of click there and there and everywhere I found a wonderful toolkit and its wxWidgets . Its a GUI toolkit that can perform crossplatform from windows, linux and mac. Im impress with the tools considering that they even got screen shoots and a lot of people are using their tools. But the drawback is the word geeky. Since its an opensource technology I can't help but smash my head to the wall as I try to configure my VC++ 6.0 to use its library. Just today after a hard jog in the park and a little workout im almost free of stress though even if I jog funny it is that I think too much. Most if are about what am I ganna do next in my life or how wonderful it is if I can be like steve jobs, steve ballmer or even bill gates taking in a conference with 11,000 people or lets make it 32,000 people eager to listen to every line you speak into your mouth. I decided to put a schedule on my blogging and so with my internet surfing time. My surfing and blogging time will be limited to saturday and sundays but whenever I feel board and feel I have something to blogg out then there will always be an exemption in my rules. :D Why am I doing this? its because I need to boos my development stage with my system because im stuck. I was quite bored while i wait my system converting those humungoes database from visual foxpro to sql server, then I decided to give some time with vc++ 6.0 just to keep me alive. Just this morning at around 8:02 am I decided to eat my usual breakfast. However, since this monday a new set of people took charge of the canteen since they have problems with the previous person who took charge on it since 15 years I guess. Its all about money shortage. I guess the COOP had enough of it. Honestly, whenever I compare the previous and the present I prefer the new people.
